• Always meet in a public place (cafe, mall, restaurant)
• Tell a friend or family member where you're going
• Arrange your own transportation to and from the meeting
• Don't go to someone's home on the first few meetings
• Keep your phone charged and accessible

4. Financial Safety

• NEVER send money to anyone you haven't met in person
• Be suspicious of sob stories or urgent financial requests
